upper class.

ashleys quote put me kind of a bookish mood.
i read alot. shocking isnt it.
but i honestly love reading. i mean i dont sleep much so i just read.
here are some quotes that stuck with me. and probed me to reread the book 6 times.

" This is what you do. You feel low, you stand tall. You mess up, you move on. You want to try something, try it, and if it was a stupid thing to try you look it in the eye. There's no turning back. Apologize if you're sorry, but know that the nimblest, strongest hands can't rebuild a bridge out of embers, so cut new wood. Start from scratch. You love with your whole heart. If your jealous  talk yourself down from the ledge. If you can't talk yourself down from the ledge at least have a good time up there, looking down on the world. If you have to lie to make everything  true again, lie like you mean it. If you find yourself in a cage, reach through the bars for the key, unlock the door and runaway. If running gets dangerous run home. If home doesn't mean what it used to mean, decide what home will be in the future.
If your best friend doesn't trust you, make her face you. Thats all it takes. If you get exiled into a new land discover it. And if you feel like your drowning, go swimming."

- thats from the UPPER CLASS novels, which is funny i didn't have high expectations form those books but theyre actaully so good.
and that quote you can use in everyday life. It's basically saying you can survive anything, and enjoy anything if you try.
go with the flow and own up to your mistakes but runaway if you don't think you can. protect yourself.

i don't know. thats what i took from it.

and this one.
is a poem from the seventeenth century by Henry Vaughan but quoted in an excellent book, Ring of Endless Light.
it's magical.
"I saw Eternity the other night,
Like a great ring of pure and endless light,
All calm, as it was bright,
And round beneath it, Time, in hours, days, years
Driven by spheres,
Like a vast shadow moved, in which the world
And all her trains were hurled."

and then of course. theres the deep and dazzling darkness. but darkness aside... if you just read this poem to yourself whenever you have the mean reds it gives you  perspective. it shows you eternity, beauty and purity.
sometimes its hard to grasp what the universe has to offer. but eternity is just such a beautiful, frightening thought.

i have so much more to share but not everyone likes to read. so i'll find you kids some pretty pictures to love. and a tune to jive too.
